What we do

Tariff Lexicon is a classification-intelligence API. Give it any product code — HS, CN, TARIC, HTSUS, CPC, SITC, ISIC, NACE and more — and one call returns the code's meaning, its equivalents in every other system, the EU duty attached to it, and the regulatory obligations it triggers: REACH, RoHS, WEEE, EPR producer registers, the EU Batteries Regulation, dangerous-goods transport rules and others. Every code, crosswalk and regulatory link carries its source, version, effective dates and a confidence score — auditable answers, not a black box.

The data

The numbers above are live — read straight from the production database, the same way the API serves them. The corpus is refreshed weekly from pinned official sources (WCO structure via open EU/US publications, EU CN & TARIC, USITC HTSUS, UN classifications, ECHA lists and national EPR registers), validated against per-source contracts before any write, and nothing is ever hard-deleted: replaced codes are superseded with effective dates so history stays queryable.
